Studios

This area is dedicated to studying our collections, giving our visitors a better understanding of the items on display.
To complement your visit to the Triplex, the Studio is transformed into a real laboratory. Visitors are invited to experiment, touch, draw, etc. During various museum events, the space is transformed into a themed workshop, led by a designer, artist or facilitator.

During periods when the exhibition in the Triplex is closed, the Studio in turn offers a peek behind the scenes at the scientific work taking place on our collections. Museum curators take turns researching remarkable or forgotten pieces, the development or history of a particular item or fashion house, the journey of a restored work, and more.
Through these wide-ranging activities, the Studio aims to offer visitors insight into the museum’s mission of conservation.
