Thursday 22 April 2021 at 19.30

How do we see the values of masculinity? Are they different in fashion, sport or culture? From the masculine codes of rugby to the stereotypes conveyed in the cultural world, James Brandon opens the debate. Drawing on his experience in mental health, sports and museums, he questions our perception beyond our usual sectors.

James Brandon has been in charge of diversity and inclusion at Tate, from 2017 to 2021.  Several of his projects have won prestigious awards including the “World Leisure International Innovation Award” and the “Scottish Physical Activity and Health Alliance Award ”.
