Folklorissimo in the museum

The great Folklore Festival comes to the museum. In the Grand Place district, workshops and guided tours immerse you in the heart of Brussels.

Discover an exceptional Brussels craft: lace-making. Join Yole Devaux —artist and honorary professor of the Arts textiles-tapisserie at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Brussels—to discover the process of creating lace. Handle the bobbins and make a few stitches.

You can also dive into the museum’s rich lace collection with our standing guides; they will reveal the secrets of this luxury craft.
